As chairman, I am delighted to present the Senate Public Accounts, Expenditures, and Audits’ (PAC) assessment of the proposed recast budget’s expenditure side. This analysis aims to provide valuable insights to the Senate, enabling them to make informed and prudent decisions regarding spending priorities for the remaining period of FY2024. The PAC is committed to monitoring public expenditures to support the Senate in making sound allocation decisions that prioritize investment in the people and uphold budget accountability.
