With a modern surgery theater, imaging equipment, a children’s center, pre and post-natal care centers, and a spacious Intensive Care Unit, the 100-bedroom Emirates Hospital in Bopolu, built by former President Weah, has all it takes in terms of infrastructure and modern medical equipment to meet the healthcare needs of our citizens not just in Gbarpolu, but in the entire Western Liberia. But to make it fully functional, it will require significant investments in training and capacity building, essential drugs, and facility management. This is President Joseph Boakai and our charge now. We will work with him to make the hospital one of the best healthcare providers in the country. I would like to thank the Hospital Administrator, doctors, nurses, and staff for their commitment to providing healthcare services to our people under difficult circumstances. Help is on the way!
