We have made significant progress in preparing for the upcoming public hearings on existing audit reports over the last few weeks. This morning, the Joint Public Account Committee (PAC) had a highly productive meeting with all the integrity institutions (GAC, IAA, LACC, PPCC, FIA, LEITI, and NIF). The public hearings on the audit report are set to commence on July 15, and recommendations will be sent to the President through our two plenaries for prosecution, restitution, or compliance. To accommodate about a hundred reports, we plan to hold approximately three hearings per day, specifically on Mondays and Wednesdays through October. The Joint PAC Secretariat will release the schedule and venue details soon. We highly encourage everyone to stay updated and be involved in the conversation, as we are committed to promoting accountability and transparency. Thank you for your support! It was a productive day on Capitol Hill.
